Sausalito Youth Sailing Exchange 

Established in 2015 between Cascais, Portugal and Sausalito, California, The Youth Sailing Exchange is one of the only international sailing exchange programs in the United States. In July 2015, Sausalito hosted 6 youth sailors from Cascais and in July 2016, Cascais hosted 6 youth sailors from Sausalito.  The program continues with the Sausalito Youth Sailors hosting Youth Sailors from Clube Naval de Cascais on June 28 -July 6 2025.
